Job Purpose
- Plan, execute, and oversee sales and promotional activities to pursue potential customers and source new business sales outlets where fairafric products can be enlisted.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business while also acquiring new customers in collaboration with the marketing team on lead generation.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop short- and long-term sales strategies to achieve set targets.
- Oversee local and regional sales, promotions, and campaigns.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of the sales team, assigning tasks to meet objectives.
- Track and analyze sales statistics to support management decision-making.
- Make data-informed decisions to drive customer demand, team performance, and resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients.
- Convert leads from various marketing channels into sales.
- Identify emerging markets to explore new sales opportunities.
- Define and execute territory sales plans.
Qualifications
- Master’s or a Minimum Degree – BSc.Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience with at least 3 years in sales roles or similar function with proven ability to lead sales processes from strategy development to implementation.
Technical Competencies
- Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective sales solutions.
- Strong sales ability, business acumen, and commercial awareness.
- Full understanding of the company’s products and services.
- Familiarity with sales tracking software and lead generation tools such as Pipedrive and HubSpot CRM.
